How to get to the Robroyston Wallace Monument
Opening hours
- The Robroyston Wallace Monument is 'open' all the time, as is Wallace's Well. However it is advisable to visit during daylight hours, preferably between the hours of 10am and 4pm when surrounding traffic is at its lightest. Both the Monument and Wallace's Well are next to a very busy country road and care must be taken if you have to walk on the road. Children should not visit the monument without the close supervision of an adult, as the roads are extremely dangerous.
There is a small lay-by at the monument which can accommodate up to three cars. There are no parking facilities at Wallace's Well, therefore you must approach on foot from the Monument – a ten minute walk along a narrow country road. Be careful!
